    My name is Sophia, and I am from Minnesota; originally from California. When I was seven years old, me and family moved to Minnesota. I am 14 years old now and I am in 8th grade in Jr. High, and next year I will be a freshman in high school.

    In 5th grade, I learned how to play the violin and still am now. I have written about 5 orchestral songs and more than 10 riffs still waiting to be completed. In 7th grade I had one of my songs played at the spring orchestra concert, it was called Deep Willows. The first song I wrote was a duet for violin and viola called, A Night for the Dancing Shadows. When I go to college I am going to study composition and theory. I am hoping to one day become a film composer.

    My best friend is Hannah. I met her in 2nd grade when she stood up to a girl trying to bully me and we have been friends ever since. I also have a pen-pal in Africa named Naa and we email and skype with each other.
